The assumption that we deserve divine blessings regardless of our character and conduct is wrong thinking, When this thinking prevails, it becomes easy for us to get aggravated by the sins of others and wonder why they go unpunished by God. Do we really have the basis to complain of divine justice while we stand in appreciation of the grace and mercy of God when we consider our own character and conduct?
